Fitter/Turner/Machinist

Position:  Fitter Turner

Location:  Rosedale, North Shore

What we are looking for:

• Trade Qualified Fitter/Turner or Tertiary Qualification
• All-round fitter/turner with preferably 5 years’ experience in a general, earthmoving or marine engineering industry
• CNC experience a plus for our Semi CNC Lathe or 3-Axis Mill
• The ability to perform precision fitting and turning tasks according to engineering drawings and specification.
• Uphold our commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, drive and ambition; able to be clearly understood; motivated, willing to learn and grow with the Company.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Workshop Manager your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Running of Semi-CNC Lathes, 3-Axis Mill & manual lathes
• Medium Industrial fitting and turning
• Maintenance, service and repairs on a range of equipment in a range of sizes.
• Operate highly specialised tooling developed in house for unique applications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
